This program is designed to help you calculate the mass flow rate of solids suspended in a liquid when you know the total volumetric flow rate, the concentration by volume of solids, the specific gravity of solids and the specific gravity of the liquid. The tons (tn) mentioned here are in US units and are worth 2000 pound mass and the metric ton (t) is worth 1000 kg.

Cv: concentration by volume of the solids portion of the mixture;

GSl: the specific gravity of the liquid portion of the mixture, for water SGl=1.0;

Cw: the concentration by mass of the solids portion of the mixture.
